With Funsters, it's all about the entertainment. We can provide you with a full entertainment package, whether for a hotel, resort, corporate event, weddings or your own private function.

 

We started back in 1998, when we took over the entertainment for the prestigious Sandbanks Hotel in Poole.

 

We knew what they had before was dated and wasn't what people really wanted. We wanted to do something fresh and new. Calling ourselves ‘Auntie' or ‘Uncle' just didn't seem right, when we were entertaining the kids.

 

Fresh and new are our key words. For FJB Hotels, we designed high-energy games and competitions, as well as dance routines to all the great and cheesy songs. We wanted to allow children to develop their skills, strengths and most importantly, their imagination.

 

It's really important to encourage parents to join in with their kids. We've evolved our entertainment to include shows for the whole family.

 

We believe we have a very strong formula, and we're growing from strength to strength. Lisa, Jimbob and Danni form a very strong core management team, and we feel we're top of our game. We produce, write and direct our own shows, and constantly come up with new ideas to keep everything fresh, new and exciting.

In 2006, we won the contract to provide the entertainment for the Southampton Boat Show. This was a milestone for us, and really put our name on the map.

 

We also know how difficult it can be to get a foot in the door within our own industry. With this in mind, we've launched ‘The Academy'. This is perfect for people that are looking to work either on the stage, film, TV or music industries. We can teach you things like microphone techniques, which will help you, stand apart from the others.

 

We're always expanding, and moving into drama workshops. We find this a useful way to encourage kids to use their imagination and building up confidence levels.
